We hae an opportunity for a Digital Learning Partner, to join our Learning & Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting online and blended course design through project management, that leads to the successful implementation of courses. This position works independently, as well as collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal subject matter experts, and external vendor partners. The Digital Learning Partner is responsible for transparent and efficient audit tracking of all compliance learning, across AbbVie Canada departments, through a Learning Management System (LMS). This position is based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) and reports to the Head of Learning & Development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement accessible eLearning:
    • Plan, design, create, maintain and update e-learning modules using content authoring tools
    • Develop, implement and measure tactics aligned to learning strategies and those identified in the compliance training plan.
    • Proactively propose innovative design ideas to help support the learning of a diverse audience, and research new trends to improve the user experience online and/or the performance of our platforms.
  • LMS administration, maintenance and reporting:
    • Support learning organization and other cross-functional departments
    • Manage the deployment and the monitoring of training/certification programs
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of the LMS platform and its related services, as well as content management in partnership with other learning partners, the product owners and internal and external content providers.
    • Report and maintain monthly compliance and other learning completion scorecard and files for audit purposes.
  • Promote and communicate AbbVie Canada's eLearning offerings:
    • Manage national requests, approval processes and meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Create reports and communication clearly with stakeholders
    • Define and manage external and internal content usage indicators in alignment with the learning experience
    • Coordinate new projects and services to foster digital content creation and consumption (user-generated content, mobile learning, etc.) from the scoping phase to final.
  • Maintain Learning SharePoint and project management standards across Learning Canada in partnership with Learning Coordinator
Qualifications:

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s or post-secondary degree in adult education, learning instructional design, instructional technology and/or another related field.
  • Relevant experience with adult e-learning design principles:
    • Instructional design, e-learning and mobile design using learning methodologies to develop courses, performance measures and report on program outcomes (Minimum of three years).
    • Experience using an LMS and Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) related tools (Minimum of two years)
  • Solid knowledge of all aspects of designing training content for a wide-ranging stakeholder.
  • Strong project management background or experience running multi-stakeholder projects

Essential skills & abilities:

  • Advance level with technology tools:
  • e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and/or Camtasia (Minimum of three years).
  • LMS maintenance reports
  • Project management experience required.
  • SharePoint and Office 365 authorizing tools apps (Power Apps)
  • Data analysis and data presentation skills and mindset to drive data awareness across Learning Canada
  • Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timetables, targeting)
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong listening and interpersonal expertise.
  • Advanced French and English language proficiency (oral and written).
  • Travel required less than 5% of time.
