Who are you?
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree (preferablly an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Management), and have at least 5 years in Human Resources Management with emphasis in Talent Management practice. You enjoy working with HR analytics to identify insights that lead to improved talent outcomes and are able to develop and impliment impactful strategies. In addition to this, you have successful experiences:
- leading direct and indirect teams
- leveraging senior business leaders to sponsor solutions
- managing and conuslting with stakeholders
- managing complex projects across multi-disciplinary, matrix environments.
- building and communicating executive ready presentations to senior leaders
Ideally you also have healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry experience as well as experience supporting the Commercial area of a large multinational company.
What can we do together?
Reporting to the Regional Talent Management Director, Europe, AbbVie's European HQ is now recruiting a Talent Management Manager to support Region Europe. This individual will join a diverse collaborative team of talent specialists whose primary focus is to drive performance through talent strategies. They will be instrumental in educating and consulting with leaders and Business Human Resources (HR) on talent management best practices to drive talent outcomes and business performance for the Commercial organization in in Europe. For this positon, there is a particular focus on AbbVie's Region North, Region South, and CEE Region, and the selected candidate will act as a Talent advisor supporting other Functional leaders in those Regions.
A snapshot of your key responsibilities as a Talent Management Manager include:
Partnering with BHR and key stakeholders to establish and implement talent and development strategies, in alignment with the broader AbbVie Talent strategy and practices.
Collaborating with Functional TMs to support the execution of key talent practices for their functions as well as be a consultant for Functional Leaders in the Regions on their talent needs.
Partnering with and coaching leadership to identify top talent within the organization and differentiate their development, creating a deep pipeline of talent.
Leading process implementation for Performance Management and Talent Reviews; training BHR on practice, process and tools and supporting BHR and leaders to implement the processes to consistent, high standards
Assessing outcomes of talent management processes and driving better process and talent outcomes year over year.
Providing proficient consultation on all phases of talent management such as succession planning, assessment and feedback, development planning, and senior leader transitions.
Providing insights that lead to solutions and actions to build capability of talent.
This role can potentially be based in several AbbVie affiliate locations within Region Europe.
Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
