In close collaboration with the IBU Brand Team and in compliance with Abbvie procedures and regulations on drug advertising, enrich the communication of products in dispensation in pharmacies and environmental information to develop the role of pharmacists and their teams by deploying marketing initiatives and materials.


Main Activities

Market Studies / Monitoring:

  • Collect information related to market developments, product situation and changes in the environment
  • Learn about trends in pharmacies and changes in the profession
  • Actively participate in expert meetings
  • Take advantage of its presence at congresses to get in touch with External Experts

Strategic plan and tactical plan

  • Participate in setting the course and appropriate the ambition of the department and brand tactics
  • Define impactful communication, adapted and bold tactics

Expertise on communication channels / Partnerships / :

  • Good execution of marketing projects and their consistency with the defined strategy
  • Coordination with agencies and suppliers, in order to develop marketing campaigns
  • Participation in the organization and animation of Medical Examination seminars
  • Development of Solutions focused on the needs of the patient and pharmacist
  • Development of digital and multi-channel campaigns

Alignment with the Brand Team

  • Development of marketing documents (content development, agreements, quality control, logistics, ..) and implementation of tactical initiatives
  • Sharing best practices across the board with other marketing teams
  • Be a force of proposal during the brand team and for the tactical plan to maximize the MCM strategy
  • Animate field task forces and facilitate the generation of new ideas
  • Dare to challenge the value and relevance of the decisions made - regularly

Tracking and KPIs

  • Analyze performance (GERS, Reporting, market research) and focus your actions on the right levers
  • Systematize the monitoring of KPIs for all actions undertaken, impose regular reviews, model successes and transform failures into opportunities

Coordination transverse

  • Leader of transversal projects and actively participate in the brand team
  •  Actively participate in cross-BU marketing meetings
  • Understand and know the processes and key dates of the strategic and financial calendar (Brand Plan, Plan, Update, LRP, business objectives)


  • Liaise with Customer Excellence to execute market research
  • Collect information for sales forecasting, activity control and budget tracking appropriately
  • Regular exchanges with field teams for an optimal understanding of the market
  • Ensure the representation of the B.U. within the subsidiary (internal communication operations on the BU)
  • Act in accordance with AbbVie procedures and regulatory requirements

  • English (fluent)
  • Market research techniques


  • 3 years of marketing experience
  • Experience in the medical examination
  • University degree or equivalent (graduate degree or preferred marketing training)
