The team is looking for a talented and experienced individual to lead the marketing and commercial activities of Oncology Pipeline assets (navitoclax and epcoritamab) to continue to shape the franchise’s future in the field of Hematology/Oncology. Through innovative tactics and a team-oriented approach, the candidate will contribute to AbbVie solidifying itself as a leader in Hematology/Oncology. This position is based in Rungis, France  and reports to the Oncology Business Unit Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully implementing the commercial marketing plan and upcoming launches for pipeline assets
  • Review the strategies identified in either the Global or GCD early Brand Plan to craft the affiliate Brand plan, and implement & measure tactics aligned to strategies
  • Leverage the Global patient journey to conduct a localization exercise or initiate local process
  • Manage and strategically spend the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget.
  • Work in close collaboration with forecasting team to deliver accurate and timely output.
  • Communicate strategic goals, positioning, messaging and tactical plans to internal customers, field sales force and external agencies.
  • Analyze market issues and opportunities and communicate findings to brand team and to senior management.
  • Plan and develop sales promotional materials and coordinate with cross functional partners.
  • Ensure successful collaboration between agency of record and AbbVie internal partners (medical , regulatory, Patient relations, market access , BTS ).
  • Work collaboratively with external experts and vendors.



Education/Experience Required:

  • Pharmacist or Science based degree + Masters in Business preferred (BAC +5).
  • Relevant marketing experience with proven track record of success within biotech/pharmaceutical industry:
  • Marketing/Brand Management experience within a relevant therapeutic area is a strength (Min 2 years).
  • Oncology/hematology experience is preferred; knowledge of hematological malignancies is a definite asset
  • Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timelines, targeting) and operating with execution excellence.
  • Experience with digital/virtual programs deployment is required Experience with CDx/testing strategies and understanding of local testing nuances and market dynamics (is an asset)
  • Experience dealing with pathologists/ labs to ensure preparedness for testing in collaboration with CDx-partners and other external stakeholders (e.g., training, validation, etc.) is an asset
  • Experience in developing local CDx access and reimbursement strategy/plans is an asset

Essential skills and abilities:

  • Advanced French and English language proficiency (oral and written).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems to perform day-to-day tasks). Experience with Veeva is an asset.
  • Travel required about 30% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.

  • Prioritize decisions and activities to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the brand.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the different stakeholders; adapt key messages to audience. Drive and Manage Projects. Propose new and Innovative marketing solutions
  • Work effectively in a matrix structure and be a strong team collaborator
