The Accountant administers accounts payables and accounts receivables, assists with maintaining financial controls and procedures and prepares expense report statistics.

In addition, your responsibilities will cover also:

• proposal for journal entries in accordance with AbbVie policies and legal requirements,
• reviews and processes related to employees travel expense reports,
• preparation of statements for VAT return,
• account reconciliation with other AbbVie affiliates and resolving all issues,
• communication and cooperation with AFS and CoE Tax and Accounting,
• Purchase orders and incoming invoices processing,
• Processing and crosscheck payment runs,
• Admin. support for research and development department,
• Key user for vendor master data in DSP.

Desired Qualifications:

• Secondary school degree is the minimum and 2-5 years of experience on similar position in multinational company,
• Upper Intermediate knowledge of Czech (or Slovak) and English languages are a must, to be able to communicate in both on ever ay basis, to actively participate on meetings held in both languages,
• Good computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point are a must, and SAP, Concur are an advantage,
• Accuracy in work with numbers and detailed oriented,
• Service oriented and good communication skills,
• Confidential and trustworthy,
• Team player with good inter-personal communication skills.
