Technician, Telemetry Monitor I
*This position is for 3rd shift coverage (Friday and Saturday) and 2nd shift during the week (Tues, Wed, Thursday)*
- Review protocols and provide input on study-specific activities that impact technical areas of responsibility and unit workflow in relation to all studies planned to occur concurrently.
- Perform study protocol related activities, i.e. blood drawing, ECGs, meals, etc., as assigned
- Facilitate [proper telemetry monitoring system set-up and preparation of telemetry transmitters and related documentation as assigned.
- Perform continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring of study subjects, as required by the study protocols.
- Perform telemetry data review in the telemetry monitoring system and generate holter reports, as appropriate.
- Maintain safety and confidentiality of study subjects throughout the study and ensure that staff can recognize safety related information as appropriate.
- Mentor Telemetry Monitor Technicians and Clinical Research Technicians, identify training needs and conducts training as appropriate.
- Participate in quality and compliance report projects and provide feedback as subject matter expert.
- Associate Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-3 years of medical/lab technology experience and/or
- 2-6 of clinical research/RT experience
- Documented proficiency in Cardiac Arrhythmia recognition/high level of ECG recognition skills.
