This position reports to the Director, Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis and supports key workstreams associated with AbbVie’s quarterly earnings calls, Board of Directors packages, and Entity Plan. This role liaises with multiple cross-functional stakeholders within Finance and has opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional Finance stakeholders to plan, track and analyze AbbVie’s Cash Conversion Cycle metrics (e.g. DSO, DOH) for monthly reviews, Plan, LBEs and LRP.
• Monitor and assess competitive intelligence to contextualize AbbVie performance vs industry peers
• Partner with key stakeholders in Corporate Financial Reporting and AFP&A to prepare financials for the earnings package used by AbbVie Executives / Investor Relations during quarterly earnings calls.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to produce analytics that inform LBEs and board package publications.
• Support Associate Director, Entity Planning with entity forecast consolidation and modeling for Plan / LBE / LRP, including Intercompany Reconciliations, Deferred Margin analysis and Performance vs Entity reconciliation.
• Support Director, Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis in driving high visibility special project(s).
• Ad-hoc analysis (e.g. P&L profiles, Growth Metrics) as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 7+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably across a range of Finance functions.
• Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Superior communication skills; ability to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear & concise manner.
• Ability meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with HFM a plus.
