This is a critical role in partnering with leadership to further define the strategy to evolve BTS’s M&A organization, services and playbooks for the various type of M&A deals.  This will include cross-functional engagement and leadership across the BTS organization and working with AbbVie’s business leaders and the AbbVie Transition Office.

• Deal Lead over multiple deal transactions responsible for overall program health, financials and reporting.
• Establish the right sized BTO National Guard team for each deal.  Bring awareness to BTS Leadership for support on role expectations.
• Work with the business and BTO National Guard teams to clearly define business decisions, solution options and recommendations short term, medium term and long term for a given deal based on deal model, size, complexity, risk, and speed to business value and operational state.
• Responsible for escalating and driving risks and issues cross-functionally.
• Continuous improvement projects to drive speed and agility in BTS services and capabilities for smaller sized transactions.  Focus on raise the bar innovative solutions to bring value to the business faster.
• Responsible for compliance with BTS’s SLC, Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline.  MBA preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience working on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and collaboration. 
• Strong Project Management, Executive Stakeholder Engagement, Business Systems Applications and delivering complex cross-functional global programs.
