The Global Forecasting and Analytics Lead is a new highly visible and collaborative role with scope to lead Global forecasting / analytical projects.

 

YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE…

  • A Storyteller, demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, identify key issues, opportunities, and value drivers, and effectively translate strategic insights & data sets into appropriate forecasts to drive business decisions.
  • Solutions focused and proactive, with visibility across the Allergan Aesthetics business you will collect, analyse and interpret data to make sense of business problems and projects, spot the gaps, think of solutions, and make strategic proposals back to the business.
  • A collaborator - Partners with market research, Finance (Regional, R+D), downstream marketing and operations, to develop robust new product forecasts and to support the Long-Range Plan. Working hand in hand with Global Commercial Development (GCD) marketing to connect strategy to Financial value across all stages of the new product development cycle

 

YOU WILL…

  • Think Strategically - Supporting ongoing new product commercial and strategic analysis alongside GCD marketers across all new product development to drive overall commercial, portfolio, franchise and product strategy
  • Lead analysis of respective market and asset opportunities alongside GCD marketing; connecting key segment value drivers, growth opportunities, target product profiles and product positioning to the financial (and revenue) potential to maximize the asset
  • Discover & quantify financial impacts of marketing initiatives and competitive events using market research and business intelligence.
Qualifications:

YOU BRING…

  • Proven combined experience in analytics, forecasting and market insights analysis
  • Solid understanding of analytical quantitative methods in information management and forecasting techniques
  • Demonstrated ability building and managing detailed forecasting models
  • Proven track record integrating market data and manipulating large, complex multiple sources to support business decisions
  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic planning cycles
  • Work collaboratively across multiple groups towards successful outcomes
  • Connecting commercial business strategies to financial values
  • Highly flexible, adapting to change and a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work both autonomously and in a team-based environment
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sector
  • Drive, energy, and passion to advance AbbVie’s mission
  • Demonstrate a high degree of proactivity to maximize value-add to the business
