Senior Analyst, Field Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will assist in supporting various cross functional team needs accurately in timely manner and required to work closely with programming teams and analysts from multiple groups, including Marketing and Business Intelligence.  The ability to analyze and to effectively articulate and implement results is essential for this position. This position also involves in developing and maintaining physician-level target panels for entire office-based sales organization.  It will require the ability to synthesize direction from multiple Product Management teams, as well as from Sales Management teams.  This position will also be responsible for providing insights and analysis regarding targeting, which include physician evaluations and business rules development.

 

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all cyclical, ad hoc analyses, and reporting requirements of Field Planning & Analytics
  • Develop and update quarterly field sales target panels
  • Develop new target panels that reflect changes in tactics
  • Implement business rules for management of target panels
  • Synthesize direction from Product Management regarding physician coverage requirements, and implement direction through target panel development
  • Communicate all work effectively to Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Ability to design & develop predictive statistical models using regression models in SAS
  • Work closely with various cross functional departments to integrate their findings/insight into target panel development.

This role can sit in one of 3 of our offices, or have the potential to be remote:

- Madison, NJ

- Lake County, IL 

- San Francisco, CA 

 


QUALIFICATIONS:

The following requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

  • Bachelor’s Degree necessary.
  • Majors in Mathematics or Engineering preferred.
  • Strong SAS experience required.
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot table, charts etc.)
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience in Pharmaceutical Sales, Market Research, or related consultancy strongly preferred.
  • Strong database management skills (MS Access/VBA, Oracle).
  • Ability to positively contribute individually and in team settings.
  • Self-motivated and creative thinker.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and cognitive skills.
  • Clear written and oral communication of technical and statistical language to peers and managers.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and multi-task.
  • Comfort using all primary components of MS Office.

This range may be modified in the future. 

  • The salary range is (minimum: _$74,500_ to maximum:_$145,500__) 
  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive program
