Associate Director, Marketing- Key Customers

The Associate Director, Marketing- Key Customers is a member of the Migraine Key Customer Team that reports into the Director, Key Customers. This individual will work closely with the Regional Marketing Managers and the broader marketing team to ensure alignment and success in development of key customer strategies and execution plans. They will be responsible for the management, coordination and execution of various account-based strategies. They will support the sales teams to establish highly effective communication and program execution with our customers. Analyzing and simplifying data sets to identify actionable insights will be a critical part of this role.

 

Key Deliverables / Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly business analysis on national and regional level sales trends and performance metrics. 
  • Create tracking tools that are leveraged across the sales and marketing leadership and used to identify business opportunities and threats
  • Use data and insights to create new ways to engage with our customers. 
  • Will hold a critical role guiding a cross-functional group in development of account resources and programs, serving as the source of business knowledge and delivery excellence.
  • Lead projects compliantly and effectively through the promotional review process to deliver high-quality work in a timely fashion (meets deadlines).  Ensures that regulatory guidelines and AbbVie processes are followed.
  • Collaborate with sales team to collect feedback, understand needs, and identify opportunities to enhance performance
  • Execute on key deliverables for all sales touchpoints and annual meetings
  • Partner with creative agencies to develop strategic resources for key accounts
  • Master collaboration and communication across stakeholders- multiple agencies, external vendors, and internal departments, including field force effectiveness, analytics, and MLRC
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of five years of pharmaceutical industry experience highly preferred
  • Experience with data analysis and business analytics
  • Self-starter, resourceful, learns fast, and can change course rapidly where required
  • Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through
  • Experience managing development of non-branded and branded resources for key customers
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation (including PowerPoint) and interpersonal skills required. Ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
