As a part of the Enterprise Product Incubator of Capabilities (EPIC) team, you will develop and deploy solutions and tools to support the life cycle of Natural Language AI products and services. This includes building and reviewing DevOps and MLOps processes and tools for ML/DL models, UI/middleware software components, and services. You will also create tools that guide the life cycle of models and services, enabling enterprise use and integration of these products.  You will work as part of the natural language product suite team to engineer scalable solutions for the deployment of AI models and algorithms, with particular focus on natural language processing (NLP) and natural language generation (NLG) applications.  You will ultimately be helping demonstrate the potential of enterprise AI products to help accelerate, scale, and amplify the power of our colleagues to drive for better, faster therapies for patients, and to help unlock the information that makes cures possible.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Deliver robust containerized deployments of NLP APIs and applications

·       Deploy solutions in cloud environments

·       Monitor systems and log/triage issues as they arise

·       Develop unit tests

·       Automate deployment where possible

·       Monitor, debug, and fix APIs once they are deployed

·       Explore alternatives to existing solutions; refactor when needed

·       Work on POCs and exploratory projects, as well as production applications and APIs

·       Support multiple projects and advocate for optimal solutions

·       Learn new skills and approach problems creatively


·Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field and 4 years of experience, alternatively, Master’s                 Degree or equivalent and 2 years of experience

·Advanced Python and DevOps/MLOps skills

·Some experience with NLP processing pipelines and/or text analysis

·Interest in NLP and desire to learn about state-of-the-art NLP systems

·Broad knowledge of AI/ML is a bonus, but is not required

·Demonstrated ability to work with cloud infrastructure and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloudera)

·Demonstrated experience with NGINX and other web server technologies and their configuration

·Experience with containerization technologies such as docker

·Basic familiarity with IT security best practices

·Ability to multi-task and work within timelines
