Marketing Director - US Gastroenterology (Skyrizi) – Chicago, IL

As the Director, SKYRIZI HCP Marketing for US Gastroenterology you will lead the launch strategy and all launch readiness review (LRR) deliverables internally regarding needs of the health care professionals in ulcerative colitis (UC). You will also liaison directly with the in-field team, RINVOQ UC and SKYRIZI Crohn’s (CD) marketing teams, to ensure executional best practices are pull-through in developing the national launch plan for the US. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Ulcerative Colitis Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ulcerative colitis launch strategy for SKYRIZI from GCD hand-off, research and planning to execution inclusive of appropriate alignment with the global marketing team.
  • Own product positioning and development of the brand story as well as development of creative campaign with consideration for co-positioning and maintenance of important elements to preserve the master brand for SKYRIZI. Adhere to the guidance and requirements from legal, regulatory and compliance partners.
  • Establish and manage tactical development timelines for launch internally and externally. Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Enable salesforce to deliver most compelling brand story to drive consideration to prescribe.  Fully owning and leading direct report to consistently pull-through core HCP tactics inclusive of Interactive Sales Aid and Playbook.
  • Collect feedback from in-field UC sales team and in-house RINVOQ UC and SKYRIZI CD marketing teams continuously to inform launch strategy and tactic development via advisory board to ensure best practices are pulled through from previous launches.
  • Support, inform and lead Integrated Brand Team (IBT) initiatives in preparation for LRRs.
  • Adopt and/or implement with agility 1Immunology best practices.
  • Foster deep-rooted expertise in the SKYRIZI UC clinical program and disease state of ulcerative colitis.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to maintain an offensive salesforce posture and differentiate SKYRIZI’s promotional brand story.
  • Understand our HCP provider mindset and their motivation to prescribe.  Act as primary point of commercial contact for SKYRIZI UCs learning plan with insights partners.
  • Represent the Gastro Family with fight for the UC patient, trust, fearlessly embracing the possible and going bold to succeed in our mission to revolutionize IBD care in UC.

 


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ commercial, pharmaceutical, marketing, plus sales experience
  • 5+ years’ experience building and leading teams.
  • Working within Immunology is preferred.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a positive sense of urgency, ownership and accountability.
  • Zest for efficiency in project and process management.
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred.
Significant Work Activities: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
