The intelligent automation process architect position is a key and multi-facted role within the Automation COE team.  S/he will play a critical role in driving delivery and adoption of automation to drive business value for our organization, responsible for defining and evolving the automation capabilities across multiple technology stacks that involve Robotic Process Automation (RPA), OCR, Artificial Intelligence and Chatbots.

As a Process Automation Architect, S/he works closely with the CoE Engagement Manager to support the business in identifying high value business process opportunities, architecting and designing RPA solutions based on business requirements.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Architect complex RPA/IPA solutions

• Consult and advise BTO and Business  leaders on best practices and methodologies for Process Automation, discovery and delivery standards

• Engage Business Stakeholders on developing strategies and roadmaps, defining business cases and best uses for RPA

• Conduct research on emerging RPA approaches and technologies

• Ensure project processes are aligned to the organizational annual strategic planning process

• Define, manage, direct the daily execution of solution architecture & technical architecture

• Leads identification and evaluation of alternative solutions

• Possesses  a deep knowledge in enterprise technology/applications ecosystem to ensure automation solutions meet enterprise standards

• Guides the team in finding opportunities to reuse  technical assets

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience in developing automations, including the collection and assessment of business process requirements 

• Hands on experience with the implementation of Robotic and Intelligent Process Automation tools, such as Automation Anywhere, BluePrism, UIPath, etc.

• Experience in Integration of RPA solutions with ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle etc. and custom developed solutions.

• Experience in SDLC implementing RPA solutions including methodologies like DevOps, Agile etc.

• Preferred:  Experience with Python, R, Visual Basic, C#, or other programming languages

• Experience with practical application of frameworks, methodologies, and approaches to address organizational process challenges

• Previous automation experience in Blue Prism

• Strong oral and written communication skills a must
