Instructional Design Specialist, AbbVie Endocrinology
Lake County, Illinois Req ID 2208890 Category Supply Chain & Materials Management Division AbbVie- Design, develop, schedule and facilitate training courses for job-related responsibilities and soft skills development
- Partner with Operations and Quality teams to identify, develop, and create training materials in alignment with business strategies based on on-the-job performance issues and/or quality gaps
- Generate and communicate departmental on-time training metrics and reconciliation of training nonconformance records
- Ensure timely completion of onboarding, off-boarding and personnel training materials
- Ensure training related records are maintained in accordance with Divisional requirements and are audit ready at all times
- Learning Management System Administrator: assignment of required training curriculum, regular and adhoc reporting.
- Reporting of training related discrepancies and exceptions via the quality system
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of experience working in a training environment
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate training
- High level of oral and written communication skills are required
- Must be able to work in a team environment and cultivate effective working relationships inside and outside the organization
- Experience in instructional design methodologies and using instructional design software (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience and compliance experience a plus
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Suite and SharePoint
