As an innovative Operations Manager, you are required to partner with technical and business teams to understand the requirements, and facilitate, and build tooling to accelerate organizational velocity. You will also be responsible for collaborating with tech teams and stakeholders throughout our company to develop DevOps practices and solutions as we transform and advance the design, development, and build.

 

Deliver the concept of DevOps in collaboration with the stakeholders and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of features. Help define roadmaps and schedules by working cross-functionally with Design, Build, Quality, Operations, and Customer Support.

 

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Create and define monitoring operational standards and streamline the operational process.
  • Take full ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of features.
  • Responsible for the delivery of operational activities and work closely with the business stakeholders.
  • Must exhibit a high-level end-to-end understanding of design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery
  • Responsible for the Demand planning meeting with business stakeholders.
  • Overall responsible for all the release planning activities.
  • Overarching responsibility and insight into Service Requests and Incidents.
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of tools continuous integration environments.
  • Play a critical role in building best practices-based DevOps culture at our company
  • Build, operate, and advocate DevOps solutions and tooling accelerating our goals for the IFTS team
  • Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments.

 


  • Knowledge of Salesforce administration is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow to validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies in stage and production environments
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD Process and code versioning systems.
  • Basic knowledge of project management practices, portfolio review, finance, and budgeting.
  • Demonstrating leadership, influencing and communication skills, as well as the ability to drive continuous performance improvements with the stakeholders, product owners and technology subject matter specialists
  • Ability to keep pace with rapid changes in DevOps domain
  • Hands on understanding of development and release procedures, upgrade cycle, and best practices to develop on the Force.com platform
