Diversity Recruitment Program Manager

The Diversity Recruitment Program Manager, reporting to the Associate Director, Diversity Recruitment, will work to enhance AbbVie’s end-to-end attraction to hire process, expanding our diverse talent pipeline AND increasing representation at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will strategically implement, champion, and manage diversity programs and/or initiatives, that includes but not limited to NBMBAA, NSN, Prospanica and Skill bridge. 
  • Lead conference and event preparation- planning, education, alignment & readiness to achieve pre-defined engagement & hiring goals.
  • Developed diversity conference councils by aligning executive sponsors with talent management, talent acquisition, Business Human Resources, Leaders, that results in a successful plan, execution and measure successes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Managed and leveraged the corporate presence within diversity associations which has resulted in new sponsorship and partnership opportunities that serve the needs of the community and association members.
  • Managed conference recruiting budget through planning, forecasting, and ROI spend related to sponsorship, scholarships, travel, and operating expense management.
  • Organize, deploy, and manage conference attendees through onsite interviews, career booth, technology management and candidate engagement.
  • Strong Project Management and Thought Leadership skills
  • Provide support for pre-conference branding opportunities to increase AbbVie exposure and recruitment efforts. (Ex: Webinar, e-blasts, advertisements, and more)

Qualifications - External

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong intellectual curiosity 
  • 7+ years of project management or recruiting experience in a competitive, fast paced environment or equivalent experience
  • Must project a strong business presence and the ability to instill confidence in clients and to deliver results
  • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience preferred
