Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of total account management for National Health Plans, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Long Term Care and Federal customers to include; formulary access and positioning, rebate and discount contracting, pull-through sales execution, data agreements, persistency and compliance programs, relationship building and maximization of resource utilization.
  • Offer internal consulting regarding managed care issues and their potential impact on business and stay abreast of policy initiatives designed to impact US Commercial Disease areas.
  • Manage timely and accurate communication flow throughout the organization.
  • Work with Pricing Dept and GM / Director, National / Government Accounts to develop Divisional-contracting strategies.
  • Seek business development opportunities within client accounts for US Commercial Products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 – 8 years of combined experience in Sales, Sales Management, Account Management including Managed Care experience.
Significant Work Activities: Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
Travel: Yes, 50 % of the Time
