Purpose:

Here’s a unique opportunity to join a new, innovative team that will lead a key initiative to transform AbbVie’s content strategy and increase speed to market. The position is in the US Commercial Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Organization and will be responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of a new end-to-end content lifecycle and integrated digital ecosystem for how we create, manage, and deliver content to Patients and HCPs.

Our team is looking for a Business Systems Consultant with a strong, technical background that will be a strategic partner across Commercial Operations and BTS. The candidate should be a self-starter who can identify key business needs to influence requirements and design, provide guidance and leadership to business stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships to implement new solutions. To be successful, the candidate must be able to develop strong relationships across a matrixed organization as we embark to redefine how we deliver content and integrate across several solutions.

The Content Lifecycle Transformation program is a significant step towards enabling content velocity and future capabilities. The position will require a quick learner, preferably with experience in Adobe Solutions (Workfront, Assets and/or AEM). Having previous experience integrating with Workfront and/or knowledge of Workfront Fusion will be helpful.

Business and BTS stakeholders are in Lake County, IL and Madison, NJ which may require some light travel.

Responsibilities:

• Works directly with business and BTS stakeholders to understand specific processes and business drivers across multiple businesses; defines business requirements and translates to functional requirements for delivery
• Investigates and understands capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across the business area to support business strategy going forward
• Drives creation of future state system and integration strategy to support requirements
• Supports team members in related workstreams to remove obstacles and ensure deliverables are on track
• Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing technology capabilities (across multiple business areas) to advance the content strategy roadmap
• Makes recommendations to process stakeholders regarding the correct approach to achieve process improvement objectives.
• Ownership of System Life Cycle documents as required by applications
• Executes organizational objectives and is accountable for actions and decisions taken.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
