HRConnect EMEA Coordinator – Data Management

 

HRConnect is the name for AbbVie internal HR and Payroll shared services focused on providing excellence customer experience as a primary principle. Service centers based in Tokyo, Singapore, Krakow & Lake County are dedicated to support AbbVie Employees and Managers in their administrative and operational needs.

 

As HRConnect EMEA Coordinator – Data Management you will be responsible for leading Team of HRConnect specialists providing HR, Payroll support within Workday, SAP, and other systems, understand data flow from Workday to various vendors (downstream and upstream), third party vendors and managing vendor relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage HRConnect Data Management Team by:
    • Overseeing and prioritizing the daily activities of the Team to ensure they are timely and accurately executed
    • Providing direction, guidance, and process expertise to the Team
    • Acting as a first point of contact in case of any escalations with customers
    • Promoting knowledge management culture and ensuring all process documents are complaint against company guidelines
    • Supporting people development by providing regular coaching and training to the Team members
    • Reviewing and assessing Team members’ performance
    • Planning the resources according to what needs to be delivered
  • Manage AbbVie upstream and downstream vendors by:
    • Auditing and validating the daily, weekly, monthly vendor integrations
    • Meeting with vendors to resolve data issues between Workday, vendors, and third-party providers
    • Creating and leading projects to improve data quality across systems
    • Developing documentation and processes that manage data and exceptions across platforms
    • Providing direction to team on testing on integrations between systems
    • Acting as a first point of contact in case of any escalations with vendors on data issues
  • Maintain a regimen of problem solving for optimization and continuous improvement of all supported operations in the organization.
  • Identify and drive process improvements for efficiency, compliance, and employee experience
  • Monitor metrics and vendor, customer feedback to drive productivity and data accuracy to consistently meet or exceed our internal customers’ expectations
  • Serve as a key contributor on HRConnect projects, using knowledge and expertise to understand system, data and business processes by:
    • identifying operational improvement opportunities
    • Leading implementation and deliver target results for projects
  • Partner with other groups within HRConnect, global HRConnect, and AbbVie IT teams to ensure data quality across systems
  • Participate in and drive strategic initiatives identified by Global HRConnect and AbbVie corporate
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of related data management or payroll interfaces
  • Minimum 3+ years HR related work experience with at least 1 year of managing a Team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills that support building strong partnerships
  • Ability to support a range of HR services to a large geographically dispersed employee population (within EMEA region)
  • Effective people management, prioritization, time management, and organization skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
  • Experience with Salesforce platform (or Help Desk software) a plus
  • Experience with Workday and third-party payroll integration a plus
  • Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills. A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
  • Fluent English
