Allergan Aesthetics is looking for a Video Editor to help lead the production team within our new in-house agency.  Working across the world’s leading aesthetic brands—Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm, Coolsculpting and more—this is a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity to be part of our in-house agency’s success right from the beginning. Reporting to the Senior Video Editor, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of producers, motion graphic artists, animators, and 3D artists. And as a member of the creative team, you will bring the skills to concept and edit compelling narratives that are shareable, memorable, and visually stunning. You’re proficient in all the tools of your trade and able to execute in a collaborative environment. And most importantly, you understand that the consumer is at the heart of every piece of communication. 

Responsibilities: 

• Ideate and edit short form videos for our various owned and paid digital channels    
• Produce and iterate engaging assets that live up to our narrative and storytelling standards
• Ingest footage following a shoot or source stock to create multiple edits for various channels 
• Facilitate same-day turnarounds for real-time content reflecting cultural moments or brand updates 
• Organize raw footage for the editing process and for content libraries
• Review scripts and advise on solutions for shooting approaches pre-production 
• Work with content producers to set and meet deadlines 
• Improve audio and picture quality 
• Collaborate enthusiastically with peers and all levels of management 
• Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards

Qualifications:

• 5+ years video editing with an emphasis OLV and digital channels; experience in beauty, retail, health, or CPG a plus
• Reel demonstrating strong editing decisions, placement of on-screen text, transitions, and other formats across social and digital media channels 
• Strong experience developing assets for paid media formats, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube 
• Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and emerging editing software or color correction software (Cinema 4D is a plus)
• Basic animation skills 
• Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills
