The primary responsibility of this role is to support Business Excellence and data analytics initiatives in LATAM AA to improve the effectiveness, profitability and growth of sales and marketing functions, whilst driving customer engagement transformation to be the partner of choice. The remit includes utilizing winning with data culture with advanced analytical work for IFE and patient experience, creating and maintaining KPI library, managing and analyzing market research initiatives and competitive intelligence with the Area Lead.
The role will also support on the execution of multiple area-level simultaneous projects, including smooth functioning of the Area Leadership Team.
Successful performance in this role depends on expert project management, innovation mindset, stakeholder management, and the ability to analyze complex data resulting in summarized recommendations and guidance to the Area VP, BEx lead, GMs, and other Area leaders in making the right decisions based on advanced analytics to ensure innovation in marketing and in-field execution.
⦁ Project management and consulting. Support to the Area Business Excellence Lead, assessing, planning and implementation of multiple simultaneous complex projects in LATAM (e.g., E-BARD, automation, 175, and UNLOCK).
⦁ Innovation leadership. Champion end-to-end innovation to bring game changing ideas into every key initiative developed and executed. Act as a thought leader and partner to internal and external stakeholders to foment innovation culture by leveraging AbbVie’s and external approaches, methodologies, and tools.
⦁ Advanced analytics: Collaborate on the creation of analytical capabilities and tool which help to convert data into actionable insights, game-changing solutions by automation and designing the KPI library. Develop solutions for gathering and monitoring of competitive intelligence regularly to ensure brand strategy driven by data.
Market Research: Lead and support the Market Research process in Latam, building with the Area BEx Lead and the affiliates the strategy to cover the business needs.
⦁ Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field. Concentration in marketing research, data analytics, innovation, or process management is a strong plus.
⦁ Fluency in English. Work proficiency of Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
⦁ Strategic thinking balanced with ability to execute. Pursuing the WHY before making critical recommendations and decisions, while being detail- and results-oriented with a strong bias for action to execute.
⦁ Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to translate strategic vision into tactical action, synthesize complex issues into actionable solutions, identify the highest impact ideas and plans and focus efforts in a cross-functional team and communicate recommendations effectively to senior executives.

⦁ 5+ years of related experience within the pharmaceutical/medical device/OTC/Aesthetics Business in Sales, Marketing and/or Commercial Excellence areas with a track record in Commercial Excellence / Sales Force Effectiveness / Sales Operations.
⦁ Demonstrated experience in project management, leading innovation, and data analytics.
⦁ Experience as an effective change leader in a matrix environment despite ambiguity.
⦁ High level of Proficiency in Excel / Powerpoint Experience with PowerBI development or similar data visualization tools
⦁ Experience with Python, R, SQL or similar (nice to have)
