Allergan Aesthetics is looking for a Copywriter to bring their passion for brand and lifecycle marketing to our CRM creative team. It’s an exciting time here as we build out our new in-house agency which will support the world’s leading aesthetic brands with personalized communications. To do this right, we need to hire the best and brightest—and that’s why we want you! 

Reporting into a Senior Copywriter, you’ll work alongside designers, copywriters, and content creators to eloquently bridge narrative-driven storytelling and benefits-driven calls-to-action. You have a portfolio of CRM and brand examples spanning digital channels such as email, social, landing pages, and loyalty programs. You collaborate easily with design partners, brand, and lifecycle marketing teams. Understand how to translate a creative brief into strategic creative. Know what it takes to personalize content for targeted communications. And most importantly, you understand that the consumer is at the heart of every piece of communication. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Copywriting for core brands, delivering a consistent voice and messaging that pays off on brand strategy 
  • Write engaging, response-generating copy that communicates our personalized offers and benefits 
  • Concept and collaborate with art directors, visual designers, and content creators to deliver high-performing creative—from concepting campaigns to conversion-oriented hardworking communications
  • Develop content to activate against digital marketing channels—email, digital advertising, social, push, SMS, conversion landing pages, and in app messaging 
  • Uphold brand voice and positioning across all content 
  • Action against creative briefs to optimize customer acquisition and retention efforts through create-test-iterate model
  • Follow and iterate tone of voice guidelines, copy styles and messaging themes 
  • Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment; experience in beauty, retail, health, or CPG a plus 
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellence in performance-oriented copywriting across all digital channels 
  • Strong knowledge of trigger-based marketing, digital customer journeys, and lifecycle marketing flows 
  • Understanding of how to implement strategies to nurture customers, drive engagement, and accelerate the purchase process
  • A sound understanding of UX writing and usability fundamentals 
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills 
  • Bachelors in English, Communications or Journalism; or equivalent
