Position Description

  • Works with the Associate Vice President of Sales Training, Associate Vice President of Sales, and marketing management to recommend and direct strategic and tactical sales training, marketing and product training and communications for the SkinMedica® Sales organization 
  • Sales Training and Marketing liaison in relation to strategy alignment and execution
  • Works closely with SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ marketing team and sales management to ensure clear, concise, focused activity plans are produced, disseminated and understood by the SkinMedica® Sales representatives
  • Coordinates and Facilitates in person and remote SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ learning courses as needed throughout the year along with the Sr. Manager of Sales Training
  • In collaboration with sales, marketing and sales training, identifies national and key regional sales meeting goals and objectives, creates themes, develops agendas and timelines, including speaker designation, time allocation, subject, and format.  Coordinates efforts to run SkinMedica® sales meeting with both the meeting planning and production company
  • Coordinates and Facilitates SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ new hire foundational courses, advanced courses, Sales Training Continuum, new hire sales onboarding and new hire manager training along with the Sr. Manager Sales Training
  • Effectively manages SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ Sales and Training Portal Pages, LMS, VEEVA, communications, marketing and sales projects.  Manages VEEVA approval of SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ training course materials, presentations and new hire sales training LMS modules
  • Works closely with Facial, Inside Sales, Body Contouring and Plastic Surgery Sales Training on overlapping courses, content and speakers.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

Financial Objective

  • Achieve Medical Aesthetics financial objectives

Sales Training and Communication Activities

  • Works with sales training, Sales Leadership (Associate Vice President and Area Directors), and marketing product managers to recommend and direct strategic and tactical sales, marketing and product training and communications for the SkinMedica® Sales organization 
  • Develops and nourishes relationships with SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ Strategic Account Managers to provide sales training and marketing managers with a clear understanding of field needs to support product positioning, to address competitive promotional efforts, and to assess the success of the various communication tools 
  • Ensures all training materials and plans are aligned with legal, medical and regulatory requirements and Veeva approved
  • Facilitates SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ Sales Training programs to best meet the needs of the organization
  • Works with marketing, legal/regulatory, Sales Leadership, and other departments, as needed, to create and produce specific training materials
  • Works with sales training department to support, develop and execute training programs
  • Continuously assesses training and development needs of the SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ sales teams and coordinates training resources, personnel and contract services to ensure the long-term development of the SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ sales teams
  • Develop, implement and continually refine New hire onboarding processes for SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ sales teams including updating training content, module creation, new hire checklist, new hire training calendar and ensure the most up to date versions are available on the Portal
  • Performance Coaching and development of Course instructors and attendees using ACTIONS verbal coaching and PowerCoaching written feedback
  • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
  • Manage logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
  • In partnership with SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ sales leadership and marketing teams create and deliver workshops at both National Sales Meetings and POA meetings
  • Manage national FST programs for SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ sales teams including annual update of the FST Guide
  • Responsible for FST development at annual FST/IST training program and throughout the year when FSTs are supporting training courses
  • FST coaching and development through selling scenarios, staff presentations and presentation skills

Key Meeting Design & Execution

  • Collaborates with SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ sales leadership, marketing executives, and Executive Director Sales Training to identify national and key regional sales meeting goals and objectives, creates themes, develops agendas and timelines, including speaker designation, time allocation, subject, and format 
  • Primary SkinMedica® and Diamond Glow™ interface with Allergan meeting planning team to ensure team understands meeting flow, objectives, and requirement for training classes 
  • Manages expenses with external consultants and vendors within budgetary guidelines

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of health care and or pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical or device industry with Aesthetic sales and B2B experience strongly preferred
  • 2 - 3 years of Sales Training, Marketing and/or some combination of project management experience, healthcare preferred, not required
