Oncology plays a significant role in the implementation of International Growth Strategy (IGS). The Director of Strategy, Oncology IMAP, plays a crucial role in IGS by leading access input for oncology business development and managing assets transitioning between PCS (Pipeline Commercial Strategy) and IMCO (International Marketing and Commercial Operations). This role also oversees oncology-wide projects such as IGS International Growth Strategy, COGS Improvement, IMAP Oncology team culture, dashboards/KPIs, and process improvement.
This is a new role and will report directly into the VP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead International PRA (price reimbursement and access) strategies for oncology assets in transition between PCS and IMCO (PIVEK, Teliso-V, etc.) in alignment with the commercial strategy.
- Develop and lead International Oncology Business Development Strategy and lead access input into Oncology BD opportunities
- Lead and execute IMAP Oncology contribution to above asset initiatives such as International Growth Strategy, COGS improvement, COMPASS, etc.
- Create, align and execute KPIs and dashboards to measure progress to goals for IMAP Oncology
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on strategy performance and market conditions (Performance Monitoring).
- Lead development and execution of IMAP Oncology Culture initiatives
- Collaborate with GHEOR, VAC, IGA/PA, policy, International Marketing, Pipeline Commercial Strategy, area market access, and other functions to deepen understanding of payer markets and emerging stakeholders.
- Develop innovative pricing and reimbursement strategies that maximize product access and affordability (Pricing and Market Access).
- Support internal events and symposia to enhance organizational awareness of environmental changes and payer impacts.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and trends in the global oncology landscape (Market Analysis).
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making (Market Analysis).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Pricing and Market Access at a global or regional level.
- Education: B.A./B.S. required; MBA/Masters/PharmD/Advanced Degree preferred.
- Been a director in current or past role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong clinical and disease area knowledge.
- Experience in developing and managing global market access strategies.
- Insight into payer trends and drivers of market access success.
- Knowledge of pricing policy, regulations, and healthcare in key markets such as EU5, Canada, China, and Japan; US channel experience useful.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on reimbursement decisions.
- Working knowledge of health economic modeling.
