Vendor Supervisor

Operational leadership in Vendor Management and Relationships by providing strategic and tactical planning, execution, and oversight of the process, systems, onboarding, forecasting, and metrics across all internal and external functional stakeholders. Responsible for coordination of business process efficiencies and improvements related to vendor oversight process and systems, including defining and overseeing the implementation of continuous improvement in function capabilities.  Provide leadership for inspections/audits; collaborate with internal and external partners to support change management; provide direction and scoping of functional initiatives. Owner of Vendor BPO Relationships, departmental processes, KPI metrics, and compliance.                


•Project Management: Lead WOR Weekly Operational Review meetings and development projects. Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet the quality expectation

•Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with team members, customers, suppliers, and management. Ensure communication is timely.   Prepare and present professional and organized presentations. Provide regular status updates to the manager.

•Subject Matter Expert: By collaborating with the functional leads and key stakeholders, anticipate the needs of the business. Design and execute innovative and efficient solutions that streamline processes and execute successful meetings and projects.

•Problem Solving: Analyzes metrics and recommends appropriate action as necessary; collaborates with customer operations management to identify areas for improvement in metrics and/or processes; optimally mine, collect, organize data to allow for trend identification and escalate areas of concern

• Operational performance responsibility for assigned vendor partners, this team works closely with management and operations teams, forecasting and planning, workforce management, training, and quality to ensure information flows smoothly between AbbVie and outsource partners.

• Participate in the end-to-end process of selecting and on-boarding new vendors, including design and roll-out of RFP, vendor selection, contract negotiating, risk assessment, and onboarding of new vendors

• Work closely with internal groups to negotiate financial aspects of vendor relationships. Balancing projected fiscal amounts to the approved budget. Audits approve/deny invoice billing for annual PO.


• Bachelor degree or international equivalent is required

• Experience of 3 years or more in the management of outsourced suppliers, delivering customer-facing support either on the client or partner side, or relevant contact center operations experience

•Proven communication (both written and verbal), organizational, project management, and leadership skills with the ability to lead within a global matrix environment

• Ability to review vendor forecasts and capacity planning assumptions for accuracy and trend identification

• Prior vendor or operations management experience, with expertise in evaluating the performance of vendors, holding vendors accountable to SLAs,

• Proven track record in scaling vendor teams. Operational knowledge of the applicable SOWs and practices required to effectively process

contracts and vendor performance data

•Strong technical skills (e.g. Excel/VB, data analysis, reporting tools)

• Ability to travel as needed 20%
